What you hear, always take it back before the Lord and allow Him to confirm what is true.  The Lord has shown that we are striving for something that we think we don’t have, not realizing what we currently possess. The Lord has given us dominion to rule, but where we fall short is in our perspective on wealth, status, fame, and beauty. Our perspective on these things isn’t what allows us to walk in the fullness of what God will pour out because we don’t understand or still think that whatever is given adds to us and whatever is taken subtracts from us.

The true problem is that we don’t understand where our values lie. When we don't recognize where our true inheritance lies, we misplace the things we already have, which are so near and dear to us and unlock every door that is closed (The Lord). He is the answer to every question that we have, yet we often seek something we believe holds more value, simply because we don’t walk in the wisdom of our true inheritance.

Taking what we hear back to the Lord for confirmation is crucial. It allows us to discern truth and understand His will more clearly. The Lord often reveals that our striving comes from a misconception of lack, not recognizing the abundance we already have. We are often blinded by our desires for wealth, status, fame, and beauty, failing to see that these things do not define our worth or our ability to receive God’s blessings.

God has granted us dominion, but our downfall lies in our flawed perspective on material and superficial measures of success. We mistakenly believe that acquiring more will add to our value and losing something will diminish us. This misunderstanding keeps us from fully walking in the abundance God wants to pour out on us. The core issue is that we don’t understand where our true values lie.

Our true inheritance is found in our relationship with the Lord. When we fail to recognize this, we misplace the immense value of what we already possess in Him. The Lord is the key to unlocking every closed door and answering every question we have. Yet, we often seek elsewhere for value, not realizing that walking in the wisdom of our true inheritance with God is what brings true fulfillment.

To fully grasp our inheritance, we need to shift our focus from worldly measures of success to the spiritual wealth we have in the Lord. By doing so, we can unlock the full potential of what God has given us. This understanding allows us to see that our worth is not determined by external factors but by our identity in Christ.

God's wisdom and guidance are essential for recognizing our true inheritance. By seeking Him, we can align our values with His, understand the richness of our spiritual blessings, and walk confidently in the fullness of His provision. This wisdom helps us appreciate what we have, use it wisely, and not be swayed by the fleeting allure of worldly possessions and status.

Always bring what you hear before the Lord for confirmation. Understand that we often strive for what we think we lack, not realizing the abundance we already have in God. Our perspective on wealth, status, fame, and beauty should not define us. Instead, recognizing and embracing our true inheritance in the Lord will allow us to live fully and walk in the wisdom of His blessings. By doing so, we can unlock every door and find answers to every question in our relationship with Him.

Anytime we are doing something that is not from an active place of rest, we start to look at the situation from what is in our hands, rather than what is in the hand of God. This leads us to strive—to be seen, to be known, to be noticed, to have money. All the things we strive for stem from the belief that we are less than, that we are not complete without those things. Meanwhile, God is saying to you that the thing of highest value is Him. God is the prize. We will spend a lifetime waiting on a promise, not realizing we are sitting on a gold mine.

Whatever God speaks over our lives is already active. Even when we are striving for His promise and trying to make it work, we are operating from a place of lack, thinking that we don’t already have what He says we do. God says that when you are studying His word and the things He has planted in our hearts and dreams, if you’re not writing these things down, you should place wisdom everywhere you see. Because there are things that will come and misplace that wisdom, and we have a responsibility to recollect it once it is before us.

Whenever we act from a place that is not rooted in rest and trust in God, we begin to rely on our own efforts rather than on God's provision. This striving often arises because we look at what we have in our hands instead of what God holds in His. We strive to be seen, known, noticed, and to accumulate wealth, believing that we are incomplete without these things. Yet, God reminds us that the highest value is found in Him alone.

God is the ultimate prize. We can spend our lives waiting for a promise, not realizing that we are already in possession of a gold mine. The true treasure lies in our relationship with Him. When we focus on what we think we lack, we fail to see the abundance He has already provided.

God’s promises are already active in our lives. However, when we strive to achieve these promises through our own efforts, we act from a mindset of scarcity, believing we do not yet possess what God has declared over us. This striving is unnecessary because God’s word is alive and powerful, already at work within us.

As we study God's word and reflect on the dreams and desires He has planted in our hearts, it is essential to write these things down and surround ourselves with wisdom. By doing so, we safeguard the insights and guidance God provides. Life’s challenges may attempt to displace this wisdom, but it is our responsibility to remember and reclaim it.

Living from a place of rest means trusting that God has already equipped us with everything we need. It means recognizing that our value and worth come from Him, not from our achievements or possessions. By understanding this, we can cease our striving and embrace the peace and fulfillment that come from knowing we are already complete in Him.

God’s presence and promises are the true riches we seek. When we align our lives with His word and trust in His provision, we discover that we lack nothing. His wisdom and guidance lead us to a deeper understanding of our true inheritance and the abundant life He has planned for us.

Whenever you find yourself striving, remember to return to a place of rest and trust in God. He is the source of all value and the fulfillment of every promise. Write down the wisdom He imparts to you, and hold it close, for it will guide you through life’s challenges. By doing so, you will realize that you are already sitting on a gold mine, blessed beyond measure, and equipped with everything you need in Him.

The book of Deuteronomy captures a pivotal time period in the lives of the Israelites as they journey through the wilderness, poised to enter the promised land. This book is fundamentally about reflection and self-awareness. God continuously urges the Israelites to be mindful of themselves before stepping into the promise. This period of reflection is crucial because if they do not remember and reflect on what God has granted them, their perception of these blessings could become skewed. Without this self-awareness and reflection, the very gifts God has given could end up corrupting them, ultimately leading to their removal from these blessings.

The underlying message is that our true inheritance lies in knowing the Lord. This profound understanding shapes how we perceive and receive God's promises. Recognizing our true inheritance shifts our focus from mere material or situational blessings to a deeper, more meaningful relationship with God. It is this relationship that provides the foundation for our lives and guides our actions and decisions.

To truly grasp the wisdom and revelations offered in Deuteronomy, it is essential to take notes when reading the Lord’s word. This practice helps in retaining the teachings and insights, allowing for continuous reflection and application in our lives. The process of note-taking serves as a form of meditation on the scripture, embedding the lessons more deeply into our hearts and minds.

When the Lord chooses to reveal something about Himself to us, He is directly inviting us into a deeper understanding of our real inheritance. This invitation is a call to revelation and wisdom, moving us away from a life of striving and into a place of rest. In this place of rest, we allow the Lord to bring things to us, trusting in His timing and provision. This shift from striving to resting is a profound transformation, emphasizing reliance on God rather than on our own efforts.

Allowing God to cultivate and refine us involves permitting Him to remove the things that are not good. This process, though sometimes challenging, is essential for our growth and alignment with His will. It is in this state of rest and trust that we truly experience the fullness of God's blessings and the richness of our inheritance in Him.

Deuteronomy serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of reflection, self-awareness, and the centrality of our relationship with God. As we journey through life, these principles guide us in understanding and embracing our true inheritance. By taking notes on God's word, accepting His revelations, and resting in His presence, we position ourselves to receive His blessings fully and live in accordance with His will.

In conclusion, Deuteronomy teaches us the critical need for reflection and self-awareness as we approach God's promises. It underscores that our true inheritance is in knowing the Lord and that this knowledge transforms how we perceive and receive His blessings. Through diligent study of His word, openness to His revelations, and a posture of rest, we can navigate life with the wisdom and grace that come from a deep relationship with God.

The Lord wanted to remind the Israelites that He is their true inheritance. This reminder is crucial because when we forget the source of the wisdom we speak about, the very wisdom we attain, and how people view us because of it, can lead to our downfall. Even the wisdom the Lord gives us and the moments of realization are not our inheritance; knowing the Lord is our true inheritance.

The only eyes that truly matter are God's. His perspective is the one that counts, not the fleeting opinions of others. This focus allows us to cultivate a character that is immune to the temptations of fame, money, and status. These worldly measures of success do not define us or our worth. They do not communicate to us that we lack anything, for our value is found in our relationship with God.

Sometimes, the Lord keeps us in a period of waiting until we fully recognize that even His promises do not add to or take away from our worth. When we believe that we are increased by what is handed to us or decreased by what is taken away, we are missing the point. Our true value is in our connection with God, not in external circumstances.

The Lord is guiding me to a place where, when I ask for something, it will come from a place of purity, and my character will be able to sustain what I ask for. The reason He hasn’t given it to me yet is because He is still developing that character. To continually feed a mentality of lack would be to speak against the glory and truth of God.

By allowing God to develop our character, we reach a point where worldly measures like fame, money, and status do not influence us. These things do not matter to the reasons behind our actions, nor do they indicate any lack on our part. This development is part of God’s process of refining us to ensure that when we receive His blessings, we do so with the right mindset and heart.

The Lord’s teachings remind us that our true inheritance lies in Him. We must remember the source of our wisdom and acknowledge that our value comes from knowing God. This focus prevents us from being swayed by how others view us and helps us maintain our integrity and purpose.

In times of waiting, it is essential to understand that the promise itself does not define our worth. Whether something is given or taken away, our true value remains in our relationship with God. Recognizing this truth helps us avoid the pitfalls of pride and insecurity.

As we grow in our relationship with God, we learn to ask for things from a place of purity. Our character, shaped by His guidance, becomes capable of handling the blessings He gives. The process of waiting and development is necessary for us to fully appreciate and sustain the gifts from God.

In conclusion, the Lord’s reminder to the Israelites—and to us—is that He is our inheritance. Our wisdom, value, and character are all rooted in our relationship with Him. By focusing on this truth and allowing God to develop us, we can navigate life with a perspective that values what truly matters. This understanding helps us live in a way that reflects God’s glory and truth, free from the distractions of worldly measures of success.

Proverbs 20:21 states: "An inheritance my be gotten hastily at the beginning; but in the end thereof shall not be blessed."

This verse serves as a cautionary reminder about the dangers of prematurely claiming an inheritance. It suggests that receiving an inheritance before one is ready can lead to negative consequences. The wisdom behind this proverb emphasizes the importance of maturity, patience, and proper timing.

Rushing to claim what is meant to be received in due time can result in mismanagement, squandered resources, and a lack of lasting benefits. It underscores the value of waiting for the right moment, ensuring that when the inheritance is received, it can be managed wisely and lead to enduring blessings.

In a broader sense, this proverb can be applied to various aspects of life, highlighting the significance of patience, preparation, and timing in achieving long-term success and fulfillment.

The Lord says that it all depends on what we do with the knowledge of our inheritance. Some people will take this wisdom and use it to multiply blessings in their lives, while others will sit on a mountain of treasures their entire lives, never realizing what they currently possess. We are actively and continually receiving our inheritance from God, but the impact of this inheritance is determined by how we utilize the wisdom He provides.

To fully benefit from this inheritance, we must rise above merely being told what something is. It is essential to seek a deeper understanding and personal revelation. Finding a safe space to talk with the Lord is crucial, as it allows us to engage in meaningful dialogue with Him and to receive His guidance and wisdom directly.

Even though we may desire certain things, we will lack nothing when God is in our presence. Realizing and appreciating what we currently have is key. The Lord will not grant us what we want until we recognize and value what we already have. This understanding prevents us from being misled by false information and helps us to see the true blessings in our lives.

The wisdom the Lord illuminates is meant to draw us closer to Him. This wisdom is not new information, but a deeper understanding that enhances our relationship with God. As we continue to seek the Lord, we grow in our ability to appreciate and utilize the inheritance He has given us.

We should pray: "Lord, bring me to a place where I realize and understand that I currently sit on the wealth and the treasure that YOU possess." This prayer reflects a desire for an open heart and mind, ready to receive and acknowledge the fullness of God's blessings.

The Lord emphasizes that it is not necessary to understand all that He is. Instead, we must have an openness and a declaration that the Lord God is our everything, regardless of what is added to or taken away from us in life. This attitude of surrender and trust allows us to live in the fullness of our inheritance, appreciating and multiplying the blessings God has bestowed upon us.

Recognizing and utilizing our inheritance from the Lord is crucial for living a life of abundance and fulfillment. By seeking a deeper understanding, engaging in meaningful dialogue with God, and appreciating what we currently have, we can fully benefit from the wisdom and treasures He provides. Continual seeking and a heart of gratitude ensure that we remain close to God, always aware of His presence and the wealth of blessings He has given us.

God is everything, and it is only when we can wholeheartedly acknowledge this truth that the Lord will grant us the desires of our hearts. This statement emphasizes the importance of surrendering to God's will and recognizing His sovereignty over our lives. The battles we face are largely internal, waged within our minds. Overcoming ignorance and embracing wisdom are key steps in aligning ourselves with God's plan.

Each person's journey with the Lord is unique and significant. It is essential to stay on our individual paths and forge them with God's guidance. Understanding that our purpose is rooted in God allows us to navigate life with clarity and purpose. While circumstances may change, the eternal love of God remains steadfast and enduring.

Allowing the knowledge of God to take root within us involves being receptive to His teachings and actively nurturing our spiritual growth. Sometimes, God plants a seed of truth or insight, and it is our responsibility to water and cultivate it through meditation on His word and prayer.

Recognizing what does not align with God's purpose for our lives empowers us to make choices that honor Him. Letting go of influences and behaviors that hinder our spiritual journey allows us to walk in alignment with God's will and experience His blessings fully.

Showing authority over our lives involves exercising spiritual discipline and stewardship. It means making decisions that reflect our commitment to following God's guidance and leading others by example. This authority comes from a place of humility and obedience to God's word.

Embracing God as everything in our lives opens the door for His blessings and guidance. By acknowledging the internal battles and seeking wisdom, we align ourselves with His will. Each person's journey is unique, grounded in God's purpose, and sustained by His eternal love. Nurturing the knowledge of God and discerning what serves His purpose enables us to walk confidently in His path, showing authority over our lives through faithful stewardship.

"The Lord will not add to you when you are in a position to be compromised" serves as a poignant reminder of God's principles regarding blessing and integrity. This statement underscores that God does not increase us or grant us His blessings when we are in compromising situations or pursuing goals that compromise His values. It emphasizes the importance of maintaining integrity, obedience, and alignment with God's will to receive His blessings and favor.

Reflecting on the book of Deuteronomy, we see how God communicated with the Israelites before they entered the promised land. He instructed them on the importance of obedience, faithfulness, and trust in Him. Before granting them the fulfillment of their desires, God wanted them to understand His laws, promises, and the necessity of staying true to His covenant. This preparation was crucial for them to receive God's blessings fully and to thrive in the land He had promised them.

On a personal level, this reflection prompts introspection about mindset and patience. Recognizing a tendency towards a mindset of lack and impatience, the realization comes that comparison with others can lead to discontentment. Many young achievers may seem to have surpassed in accomplishments, leading to wishes for similar achievements. However, the journey shifts towards pausing, allowing God's voice to guide and mold character.

By stopping and listening to God, there is an acceptance of His teachings and guidance. This allows for personal growth, strength of character, and alignment with His will. It is a journey towards developing a rich mindset grounded in faith, patience, and trust in God's timing and direction. Through this process, there is a realization that true fulfillment and success come from walking in obedience to God's word and allowing Him to shape every aspect of life.

The Message

The core message here is that God's blessings and growth in our lives are intricately tied to our integrity, obedience, and alignment with His will. It's like this divine principle where God won't pour out His best for us when we're in situations where we compromise what we know is right and true. It's about maintaining that purity of heart and spirit, staying true to His values even when it's challenging or when others seem to be racing ahead.

Think about it like this: back in the days of the Israelites entering the promised land, God wasn't just handing out blessings left and right. He wanted them to understand His laws, to trust in His guidance, and to be faithful to His covenant. It was a preparation, a journey of growth and learning to fully appreciate what He had in store for them. That's the beauty of it—you're not just handed everything on a silver platter; there's a process, a molding of character and faith that happens along the way.

Personally, I've felt that struggle too—seeing younger kids achieving big things and feeling like I should be there already. It's easy to get caught up in comparing ourselves to others and feeling like we're falling short. But you know what's helped me? Taking a step back, hitting pause on the rush to achieve, and just letting God speak into my life. Allowing Him to shape me, to teach me patience and perseverance, to build that strong foundation of character that can withstand whatever comes my way.

It's about listening to His voice amidst all the noise, trusting His timing even when it doesn't match up with our own expectations. Because when we align ourselves with His will, when we let go of the need to rush and control everything, that's when true growth happens. That's when we find that rich mindset—not in comparing ourselves to others, but in embracing our unique journey with God. It's a journey of discovery, of becoming the person He's designed us to be, and that's where the real beauty and fulfillment lie.
